The murchision falls national park experience (3 days & 2 )nights

3 Days

Overview

Situated in northwestern uganda at the northern end of the albertine rift valley, Murchison Falls National Park is the country’s oldest and largest conservation area, spanning roughly 3,893 square kilometers across the districts of Nwoya, Buliisa, Kiryandongo, and Masindi. The park is famously bisected by the Victoria Nile, which forces its entire volume through a narrow 8-meter rock gorge to create murchison falls, the world’s most powerful waterfall before emptying into Lake Albert. This dramatic landscape sets the stage for a wide array of world-class safari activities, including classic morning and evening game drives across the palm-dotted savannas of the buligi peninsula to spot lions, leopards, massive herds of elephants, Rothschild’s giraffes, and cape buffaloes. Visitors can also experience launching spectacular boat cruises upstream to the thunderous bottom of the falls or downstream to the nile-albert delta to track the rare, prehistoric shoebill stork, alongside thrilling options like hiking to the top of the falls, sport fishing for giant nile perch, taking scenic hot air balloon safaris, and trekking habituated chimpanzees within the dense canopy of the adjacent budongo forest.
